Capricorn Coast

From Rainbow Beach to Agnes Water in some hours... I stay in a very charming Backpacker’s ... bungalows, swimming pool, dvd room, equipped kitchen, etc... Movie and bed.

In the morning I do another surfing course, the waves are good to practice how to go up to the surface.

At the afternoon I take one of the free bicycles from the Backpacker’s and I go to Seventeen seventy, place where Capitan Hook did his second stop over Australia in 1770... Reading and music next to the beach and dinner before I take the bus to Rockhampton.

I arrive there at 12 midnight and Scott (Australia, Couchsurfing) pick me up.

He explains to me hoe to get around and he recomment the botanic garden before go to bed. Really nice house and bed.

In the morning I take a shower, I bring in the cat and I close up the house and I go walking to the Art Gallery of Rockhampton where I stay long time.

After, I keep going to the Botanic garden... Really good sunny day!
A part of the botanic garden, There is a small free zoo inside the garden... I can see cangoo, Koalas, Crocs, etc... The Botanic garden is huge and has different areas.

I go back to Scott place, and when he got back from work, we went to buy some drinks and food. Wednesdays is Poker night at Scott place! The brothers and some friends of him came to play cards... and watch Australian cricket team game!!!

Next day I wanted to do a trekking to a national park next to Rockhampton, but rains a lot...So, I sleep till late... Scott has to work from 12, so we say goodbye, and he explains how to set up to watch a movie in his nice audio-video system...

Till 5 I stay there watching the heavy rain... I take the last local bus to the bus station and I stay in a McDonalds while rains... and is the only free wifi around!

At 12 my bus arrives. Next stop Airlie Beach
