Miyajima and Hiroshima

I arrive early morning to Hiroshima.
I leave my backpack in a Hostel that is a little bit far away from the centre, but is good location to take the ferry to the Island Miyajima. Is the first I do.

The Island is protected by UNESCO, and is plenty of Temples and Shrines, and there is a famous red door in the middle of the sea... and like Nara, is plenty of deers .

I do a trekking that takes me to the highest point of the island around 630m where, of course, there is a Temple. I do the way down from the other side, to take a track that goes through a natural reserve to a beach. This last track is so crowded of vegetation and there are points that the ferns are everywhere and it’s difficult to see the track. (Track)

The desire beach is there! Yes!! But unfortunately the water of the sea is not. Oooooohhhhh....

I have lunch late, Rice with chicken a curry sauce, and at afternoon I visit the things I missed in the fishing village.

The Hostel is charming, and the boss is always organizing things. Every day he prepares dinner and who wants to join just for 1000 Yens you can eat as many as you can. I didn’t want to pay that amount (normally for 600 Yens you eat a lot) so I refuse... But later I eat there for a can of beer!. He needs some climax.

I visit Hiroshima. Basically the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, the memorials and the Castle. Is very interesting because you can see all the points of views that why the drop the bomb and why there, some images impacts.
You can do a virtual visit at here

I wait to take a night bus to Fukuoka (or Hakata).
